This local Reading Room was established by 2nd Church of Christ, Scientist in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Reading Room is located in the Ranch Center off 90th Street at Via Linda. It is a spacious, tastefully decorated, quite place providing a large table to study the daily lesson, screened private areas for reading periodicals, and to explore the Found Volume articles and testimonies of healing.

The Concord is available on a computer in the entry area, and the most up-to-date listing of the Found Volume articles [1883 - 2003]. These tools aid in the study of the daily lesson, as well as, aiding in the practical application of Christian Science and the study of the Bible.

Audio versions of the daily lesson are available in casette tape.

This Reading Room has a lending library, and from time to time, there are items available as gifts provided through donations.

There is a children's area designed to welcome children to explore the books and literature of Christian Science and Bible characters.

Although, like every Reading Room, there is a Librarian, staffing is made up of several volunteers make up the "librarian on duty." These volunteers are happy to help anyone to become familiar with the daily lesson, find articles and testimonies of healing, and to identify reference and resource materials.

The goal at the Reading Room is to provide a nice, quiet place to pray and study the writings of the writings of Mary Baker Eddy and the Bible.
